NEW BOARD - We Need A Name

Seeing as Devin will not be bringing back Envvy, I have offered to do it with the help of Nachoz and Sir3n (Soundraptor). Envvy has been like a second home for some of us, so it would be a shame to let it slip through the cracks. I know alot of us don't want to go back to eFG or search for a new forum and try to make it work.

I know some of you may not know who I am because I have never been a HUGE poster, but I have been around since 2003 over at eFG. I didn't post very often until Envvy came along. So don't be put off by the fact that I'm not Devin or Frank or Will or any of the big posters that have been around since day 1. I promise that I won't let the forum die, I won't take it down or change domains, just for the hell of it. I'm doing this because we all want Envvy back and I already have the server space from my own site that we can use. It's already paid for all the way through next fall so we are set. No need to worry about the bill not being paid.

I do need your help in making some of the decisions regarding the new board though.
Let's use this as the temp board for now. But I need to know some things from everyone.

We've pretty much decided that we will continue using Invision Power Board (the same one used over at Envvy). If you feel that vBulletin may be a better choice then speak up and we will consider it.

But, we need a domain name. Throw out some ideas. Anything. If you see one posted that you like then say so. We need to narrow it down. We can't take too long because we need to register the domain name and it will take a few hours before it will be up.

ipb is a server hog, and slow unless it's on a perfect server [from my exp].

I like IPB, but I have not been behind-the-scenes with it like Devin has, so I can't really comment.
The other boards that I post at, use vBulletin, and some of them have really cool features, but it's really not up to me..

good idea. i would like something similar to envvy. it always worked well for me.

I don't have a problem using that but wasn't sure if the members had an issue with that being the web address. I have a forum for Britney and Media already setup if you want to head there, while we figure this all out.
